If you're hearing a delay in your headphones, lower your buffer size:
- Open your DAW's audio settings and navigate to the playback engine.
- Lower your buffer size to 128 samples (or the lowest available setting).
- Note that lower buffer sizes demand more CPU. Experiment to find the right balance between low latency and stable performance.
- Reinstall the missing plugin and re-scan both VST and VST3 versions in your DAW.
- Ensure all required plugins are active and fully updated.
- Verify your DAW is updated and registered.
- Restart your computer, then reopen the template.
- Open your audio settings and verify that input/output assignments are correct.
- Confirm the input on the affected track is set appropriately.
- Check that all plugins in the signal chain are active — a single bypassed or inactive plugin can block audio playback.
